Operational Improvement Team Manager

Our client is seeking the best of the best to join their team!

 

On establishing the resource base, the successful candidate will be responsible for all mine development and production activities. Key to your success will be your ability to implement effective operational logistics and strategies for increasing and maintaining mine production while adhering to processing and transportation schedules. Moreover, you will strive to create a positive, professional and high performance-working environment to ensure the ongoing success of the operation.

A strong track record in organizational development and senior operational management or engineering in aggregate mining is required. The successful applicant will be able to demonstrate a positive and effective leadership style, a high degree of motivation as well as a commitment to high productivity, quality and cost effectiveness.

 

Ø Minimum BS in mining and/or engineering fields.

 

Ø Experience leading large teams in production environment.

 

Ø Six Sigma Blackbelt or Greenbelt preferred and/or willingness to obtain.

 

Ø Must be self-motivated and able to work without much supervision.
