Oil & Gas Industrial/Drilling Rig Mechanic

    Scandrill, Inc. is currently looking for an experienced Drilling Rig or Industrial Mechanic. On-the-job training is available for an individual that has worked outside the Oil & Gas Drilling Industry and that is not familiar with specific drilling equipment.

    This is a full-time position and will be subject to travel to and from our Tyler, Texas Yard throughout the Ark-La-Tex Region at various drilling sites. Job duties will include but is not limited to diagnosing, repairing, installing and maintaining drilling rig equipment and parts as they are related to draw works, mud pumps, diesel engines and all other related and major equipment to ensure continued operations at drilling sites.

    This position will be on call 24 hours. There is a weekend rotation in place between Mechanics and vacation is also available. There is a vehicle allowance and fuel will provided for traveled work time. A clean driving record is sought for anyone filling this position.
