Office Manager/Bookkeeper

Dynamic, rapidly-growing, entrepreneurial spirited cabinet manufacturing company has an opportunity for you to use your generalist accounting and administrative expertise to contribute to the strategic development of this organization.

 

You will be responsible for processing the full cycle of accounting; including accounts payable/receivable, job costing, general ledger, payroll, collections, and other weekly reports. 

 

If you have exceptional general bookkeeping and customer service skills, experience in a manufacturing environment, a can-do attitude that enjoys a team environment that prides itself on excellent customer service and creative problem solving skills, you may qualify for this position.  This position reports directly to the President.

 

Essential Qualifications:

 

·  Three (3) plus years of extensive bookkeeping & small office management experience with a company with sales in excess of $1 million;

·  Verifiable expertise with QuickBooks (contracting edition) and Microsoft Office Products is required;

·  Generalist experience with administrative, human resources and customer service required;

·  An Associates degree in business with an emphasis in Accounting is desired, however, solid experience is acceptable in lieu of a degree;

·  Manufacturing and/or construction experience highly preferred.

 

Essential Functions and Responsibilities:

 

·  Complete hands-on responsibility for the bookkeeping functions utilizing QuickBooks software;

·  Processing of payroll, job costing reports, AR/AP and collections activities;

·  Maintenance of the General Ledger;

·  Responsible for maintaining cash management systems;

·  Ensuring policies and procedures are implemented and maintained;

·  Preparation of other financial reports as indicated by management;

·  Ensure that the administrative, purchasing and accounting functions are completed in a timely manner within budgeted guidelines;

·  Other functions as directed by management.
