We are seeking candidates for an Office Engineer opportunity to support the HOTlanes Project in our Washington, DC office. Duties: Performs contract administration functions for medium to large projects and programs of a diverse nature. Assists in performing field inspection of multiple routine contractor activities in order to monitor individual contractor's compliance with specifications, plans and other contract provisions. Assignments are complex and non-routine and normally related to multiple, large, and/or diverse projects. Maintains files of project/program records and documentation Reviews inspector's daily reports for quantities, contractor's progress and as-constructed data. Reviews schedules and facilitates resolution in problem situations Prepares/reviews monthly construction estimates. Assists project administration in monitoring internal project controls. Monitors project schedules. Assist in issue resolution. Assist in claims documentation. Act as project/program manager as needed.
