OSHA 500 Certified Safety Officer
We are currently seeking a OSHA 500 Certified Safety Officer within our client’s team to work on a contract basis. Based in Caguas, PR you will be working with the local leading electrical services company.
Job Description:
Implements programs about employee safety procedures and accident protection and prevention. Responsibilities also include developing and distributing educational materials, inspecting company facilities, and recommending corrective actions or additional precautions to ensure compliance to established regulations. Has knowledge of commonly-used concepts, practices, procedures and regulations within construction projects (Pharmaceutical). Relies on instructions and pre-established guidelines to perform the functions of the job. Works under immediate supervision. Typically reports to a supervisor.
Job Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in related Area is a Plus.
Must have 30 hours of OSHA Certification.
Must have the OSHA 500 certification.
Minimum 2-5 years of experience in the construction field.
Fully Bilingual (English & Spanish).
Willing to travel in/out Puerto Rico.
