Job Title: -- O & M Specialist

Job Summary: --

The O&M Specialist will be responsible to the Contract Manager for the supervision and execution of contractual duties at assigned remote site locations.

 



Essential Duties and Responsibilities: --

Responsible for Monthly Inspections at all assigned sites.



  Responsible for assigned Preventive Maintenance tasks.



  Perform quality control checks and evaluates subcontract performance.



  Meets with client Managers monthly.



  Submits reports to the Contract office as required.



  Receives job requests from sites and assists with proposal development and project completion.



  Ensures the required operating logs and maintenance records are completed accurately are submitted on a timely basis.



  Maintain a safe and accident free workplace. Exercise common sense and good judgment when performing duties.



  Will be required to travel frequently and may require over-night trips.



  Ability to drive a company vehicle in a safe and responsible manner and maintain a valid drivers license in good standing.



 

Qualifications:

--

A graduate of a technical or trade school with training in HVAC/Refrigeration systems.

 

  A minimum of five years field experience in Commercial Refrigeration systems operation, repair and maintenance.



  A minimum of three years experience in managing and supervising others in a service oriented industry.



  Must have the ability to communicate effectively with customers and management. Able to write effectively in the preparation of reports and forms. Must use computers and cell phones.



  Strong background in commercial refrigeration in a food storage environment is desired.



  Possess a State EPA and USEPA approved universal certification to work on air conditioning and refrigeration equipment.



  Must be able to lift 50 pounds.



  Must be physically able to climb ladders.
