Network Administrator/Web Designer/Network Engineer
This is an outstanding opportunity with a growing 20 year old, fiber optic, network integration company. Â We have a position for an experienced Network Administrator/Engineer with a good track record in dealing with multiple assignments in a fast-paced, high-tech company environment.

Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree preferred; 2yr Associates degree acceptable with 2+ years network administration experience; IT technical training + certifications
- Microsoft, Cisco, Foundry, Extreme Certifications (MSCE, CNE preferred but not required)
- Experience in Web Page design, development & administration
- Proficiency with web-related technologies; HTML, JavaScript, Perl, CGI, graphics is required
- Hands on knowledge of LAN / WAN, inter/intranet, VoIP and e-mail systems @ multiple sites- Installing-Maintaining Microsoft Small Business Server in production environment- Expertise in Microsoft Active Directory, Exchange, routers, switches, VPNs, and security
- Experienced in Network System Design–Implementation–Administration a must
Admin/Management of firewalls; Mainframe/Enterprise Servers; Enterprise SAN
Application program interfaces for multiple software routines: Microsoft Office; CAD; Accounting software packages; File storage; Construction Estimating…
Design/Implementation of logical & physical networks
Technical Writing Telephony design/implementation
- Knowledge of eCommerce applications a plus- Capable of limited travel to remote Corporate & Client service sites (SE USA)
- Ability to remotely troubleshoot / diagnose / web demo programs- Demonstrate technical troubleshooting experience
- Detail oriented, multi-tasker able to manage comprehensive networks
- Requires excellent analytical, communication and interpersonal skills- Show strong project management skills with ability to work independently and in a team

Job Responsibilities:
- Maintain & administer all hardware / software for servers, desktops, laptops, printers, peripherals, and telecommunication devices. The position will also analyze and resolve end user hardware, software, and connectivity issues in a timely and accurate fashion, perform project research, manage end user profiles, and provide administrative support for the IT department.
- Responsibility for building and configuring all servers, desktops, laptops, and peripherals- Demonstrate creativity, foresight, and mature architectural judgement in anticipating and solving IT problems, program objectives and requirements, organizing activities, and developing standards and guidelines for diverse architectural activities. - Any and all Network Administrative duties for client-server applications with remote offices
- Maintaining multiple Windows/Linux servers with remote office connections including:
Microsoft Exchange Servers; Small Business Client Servers; Symantec Antivirus-Antispam Firewalls;
- Maintaining Backup procedures, routines for remote & local backups and offsite SAN
- Maintaining Routers, Switches, Firewalls, service connections in distributed network
- Software licensing, Domain registration, configuring DNS records
- Maintain, update, and review, on an ongoing basis, the architecture and content of Co. website
- Remote troubleshooting by phone or web conferencing software
- Performs network troubleshooting to isolate and diagnose common network problems- Work in a technical role with the Network Architecture Team for Client networks - Produce, document & maintain detailed layer design documents of network architecture definition documents, IP allocations, device descriptions and narratives describing design function - Configure and test networking equipment, in a lab environment
- Support customer projects with front-end development for distributed network solutions and online Applications Service Provisions provided to clients
