A premier national retailer/wholesaler is seeking a qualified National Project Management candidate to work for our corporate headquarters. Our well established organization has over 100 locations nationwide and has earned a reputation as a preferred solutions vendor and industry leader.

 

The National Project Manager will be responsible for managing all aspects of projects associated with construction for company owned/leased properties to assure compliance and quality control.

 

Primary functions of the National Project Manager position will include the following:

 

· Implementing of  repairs as needed for all corporate facilities while controlling expenses and costs

· Managing the National HVAC maintenance contract to insure proper billing and quality of service. 

· Identifying contractors, negotiates pricing, negotiates construction contracts and approves payments for all projects handled.

· Analyzing specific facility issues to determine appropriate scope of work needed.

· Providing detailed project budgets and obtaining necessary corporate approvals.

· Managing project to assure that costs remain within budgets and completion is accomplished in a timely manner

·  Other duties as assigned

 

Ideal candidates will possess the following:

 

·A maximum of 3-5 years Retail Construction and/or Owner’s Representative experience (preferred) including facilities and project management.

· Ability to remotely manage multiple projects nationwide all at various levels of completion.

· Experience with HVAC requirements and procedures

· Ability to read/interpret/generate construction documents.

· Proficiency in MS Office, Excel, and Project Management software.

· Excellent oral and written communication skills, and be able to interact effectively with all levels of organization.

· College Degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or Architecture.

· Ability to travel
