Knology is currently seeking a Network Manager for Knology of Knoxville.  The Network Manager is responsible for the operation, support and maintenance of cable plant in the Knoxville system.

 

Primary functions include but not limited to:

 

Ø Preventive maintenance and repairs of Headend, Hubs, and outside plant;

 

Ø Ensuring customer satisfaction with Knology’s network availability and activations;

 

Ø Forecasting and budgeting departmental expenditures effectively;

 

Ø Guaranteeing 24/7 coverage of team members to support quick response and repair times as necessary;

 

Ø Certifying the highest level of quality has been delivered from the network team.

 

The successful candidate will have at least seven years of cable technical operations experience and prior supervisory experience.  Candidates must have demonstrated knowledge of the maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of: headends, coaxial cable, copper cable, fiber optic cable, FITL, DLC, and DC power.  Expertise in SONET, RF, Data, Telephone, and FCC reporting is also needed.
