The job responsibilities include but are not limited to:Gathering data and assisting in preparing bid proposal estimates and design/build proposals;Perform take-offs from drawings; pricing change orders; and conducting site visits to understand the constructability of projects;Understanding plans and specifications to identify the types and grades of materials and equipment needed to ensure compliance with project requirements;Developing project schedules utilizing the Critical Path Method; assigning cost and manpower to the schedule, and provide cash and manpower forecasting;Developing budgets and cost codes for projects; assisting in the preparation of technical proposals, including assisting in the design and writing the scope of work, management plans, work sequence, safety, quality control and commissioning;Developing and presenting clear and detailed project scopes to the customer and meeting with potential customers to present proposals;Knowledge of design techniques, tools, and principles involved in the production of electrical plans, blueprint and drawings;Developing specific goals and plans to prioritize, organize, and accomplish work;Generating high quality work;Working well with others in order to reach a common goal;Required Experience

Position requires at least 3-5 years of experience performing cost estimates in the electrical industry;Possess a BSEE, journeyman's license or master electrician license or equivalent desired;Familiarity with electrical equipment, materials and specifications;Experience reading and interpreting blueprints;Experience with contract documents such as contract drawings, subcontracts, contract addendum, specifications and change orders;Work under the direct supervision of the management team;Experience performing complex design/build and conceptual estimating;MS Office, Scheduling software programs such as MS Project and SuretrakExperience with McCormick estimating software or equivalent;Qualified candidates should apply online with resume and salary requirements to:M.C.
