 Mechanical Service Manager – Toledo, Ohio

 

Summary:  Manages the repairs and maintenance of equipment assigned to the division location; reports to the Senior Division Manager.

 

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

§ Supervises the cleaning of equipment.

§ Travel to special projects as required.

§ Delegates and oversees maintenance projects.

§  Teaches others to correctly perform equipment maintenance and minor repairs. Ensure information flows to  managers and the mechanical department in a timely manner

§ Monitors activities of crew in the shop, including use of tools and equipment.

§ Inspects equipment for conformance to operational standards and DOT compliance.

§ Monitors oil samples and repair orders for the division.

§ Manage facility maintenance.

§ Manage facility maintenance.Educational Requirements:  High School graduate 

Experience Requirements:  Three or more years related mechanical experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience (fleet management or mechanical).  Knowledge of state permit requirements and procedures.
