Mechanical Drive EngineerDescription: Searching for a mechanical engineer with experience in the design of drive trains! Do you have a bachelor degree in mechanical engineering? Working for our client, you will play a part in the advanced drive train team, researching and implementing designs for their new product lines. You will also have the chance to take on responsibility for coordinating with component suppliers and manufacturing engineers to ensure that solutions are delivered, from the drawing table to the point at which it rolls off the assembly line. Located in East Peoria, this opportunity is open to engineers working in automotive, rail, or heavy machinery. Requirements: Minimum Qualifications for this opportunity include1. Bachelor degree in Mechanical Engineering or related discipline2. Knowledge and experience in mechanical design, rotating components, and mechanical analysis3. Experience using solid modeling and drawing tools such as Pro-E4. 2 years of related experienceThe exceptionally strong candidate will have experience with electrical rotating components such as motors and generators. They will have experience with vibration and dynamic analysis or finite element analysis. They will have served in a position that involved the new product design process and the documentation that goes along with it. Project management experience is always a plus!
