Essential Duties / Responsibilities: Participate in product optimization/modifications related to Ready Mix Concrete, Manufactured Concrete Products etc. Participate in marketing-related initiatives focused on increasing the use of cement and concrete applications. Participate in paving-related projects. Provide technical training to the personnel in the plants and fields. Write technical papers for presentation and publication in the technical journal/organizations. Participate in technical organizations such as American Concrete Institute (ACI) and American Society for Testing and Materials (ASTM). Provide assistance as necessary in actively supporting the NRMCA P2P program on behalf of CEMEX. Building materials, particularly in cement and concrete. Concrete pavement design and placement. Technical aspects of customer’s products, systems and applications Cement and concrete industry standards and codes (ASTM, AASHTO, ACI) Strong analytical and presentation skills Interpersonal skills including conflict resolution Strong oral and written communication skills Computer skills: Word, Power Point, Excel Minimum of 5 years experience in the building materials industries (cement, concrete, admixtures) Job Title: Manager, Technical Services Company: CEMEX Location: New Braunfels, TX 78130 Status: Full Time, Employee Job Category: Engineering Career Level: Manager (Manager/Supervisor of Staff) Company: CEMEX
