Maintenance Electrician, Industrial Mechanic; Inspections - Overhead Cranes & Hoists
CRANE 1 SERVICES, a growing overhead crane & hoist service and maintenance organization with 4 offices in the Midwest has an immediate opening for Service Technicians with 3-5 years experience for our office in Charleston West Virginia.
Primary responsibility is to provide quality installations, inspections, maintenance and repairs of hoist and crane equipment. Breakdowns will require troubleshooting of mechanical and electrical components and circuits. Communocation skills are required because there is a great deal of customer contact.
 Primary Tasks and Responsibilities: Inspect overhead industrial cranes and hoists to verify safety and compliance with Manufacturer, OSHA and ANSI standards. Troubleshoot and repair material handling equipment. Troubleshoot and repair electrical equipment (strong knowledge of motor skills). Perform scheduled preventive maintenance activities on equipment. Support customers by effectively interfacing with customer and office in repairing equipment as needed. Evaluate and make recommendations regarding required repairs. Provide a high level of communication with both Customer and Office.
 Skills and Knowledge: Good mechanical and electrical skills required. Minimum one to five years work experience with similar types of equipment in a manufacturing environment. Machining and welding skills desired. High School Diploma or equivalent
Work Environment Considerations: Work various environments and working conditions depending on assignment. Occasional overtime required Occasional out of town work Working at heights and some heavy lifting. Applicants with fewer qualifications will be considered at a lower level.Â
