Primary Function
Perform various clerical tasks, such as filing, typing, data entry, correspondence and other duties as assigned. Will assist, initiate, facilitate, and/or compile, write, edit, revise, and provide quality assurance of deliverables, proposals, and various procedural guides (such as internal “policies and procedures,” implementation documents, etc.).
TYPICAL DUTIES:
1. Draft and edit letters, memos, reports, proposals, procedures, etc., as required by Program and Project Staff.
2. Draft reports, brochures, and other various weekly, monthly, quarterly, and annual job to date reports as assigned by supervisor.
3. Assist with documentation completion and provide staff assistance on priority items and deliverables.
4. Perform additional assignments per supervisor’s direction.
SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE, QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE
The ideal candidate will demonstrate/possess outstanding writing, editing, and communication skills. Have strong emphasis/capabilities on Microsoft Office Suite 2007 products ‘Word, Excel, Access, Power Point and Outlook’ and other software abilities. Ability to quickly learn and organize technical information. Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment. Has the ability to work effectively with multiple projects and priorities.
OTHER REQUIREMENTS
Excellent verbal and written communications skills are required for this position. The ideal candidate will demonstrate the knack to maintain pleasant working relationships, perform multiple tasks simultaneously, and uphold the highest level of confidentiality and professionalism. Strong time management skills and task prioritization skills are essential to ensure that administrative support is timely and short turnaround times are met for multiple projects. Ability to project and maintain professionalism with a diversity of people inside and outside the Company. Position may require periodic overtime during peak operations periods, including weekends and holidays. Three years relevant working experience. Some travel may be required.
