In this environment you will be responsible to provide detailed management and maintenance to all HVAC and Electrical systems using Cushman & Wakefield’s “Best Practices” and Industry standards.PRINCIPAL Responsibilities· Perform all maintenance to ensure the highest level of efficiency without disruption to the business.· Accurate and timely completion of work order requests.· Responsible for the safe and efficient operation of the facilities including all building systems.· Work with the client and data center personnel to schedule equipment to be taken off line so that preventative maintenance can be performed.· Monitor operation of electrical and mechanical equipment supporting the facility and facility’s critical operations.· Ensure compliance with all Cushman & Wakefield policies and procedures.· Responsible for government regulatory compliance, EPA/OSHA compliance, safety program, CFC handling, and other similar programs.· Must be able to immediately respond to operational and emergency situations.· Perform other duties as required.Job Requirements· High School diploma or GED equivalent · Completion of a two year mechanical technical degree or equivalent.· Minimum of five years operations and maintenance experience in a mission critical site environment -Electrical Specialist preferred.· State Journeyman's license or equivalent preferred.· Certification as a Universal Technician for CFC’s (or within 90 days of employment).· Demonstrated excellent verbal/written communication skills.· Ability to prioritize and demonstrate excellent time management.· Advanced knowledge of electrical distribution systems and over current protective devices.· Complete familiarity with sophisticated equipment monitoring, alarm, and building automated management systems in all aspects of life safety and fire alarm systems.· Thorough understanding of air conditioning and control systems· Complete understanding of electric/electronic temperature control systems.· Must be a team player committed to working in a continuously improving, quality environment.· Requires in-depth knowledge of various maintenance fundamentals sufficient to deal with service and repairs in a Critical Environment, with preference to Data Center infrastructure experience.· Must demonstrate an understanding of risk mitigation practices and their application in critical sites.· Must be physically able to perform basic maintenance tasks to the highest caliber, which includes ability to: climb ladders, work in confined spaces, lift heavy objects weighing up to 50 lbs., etc.· Must be able to work weekends, holidays, overtime as required and be "on call" on a 24 x 7 basis for emergency situations. Advanced knowledge of safety procedures and equipment, procedures and established techniques.
