POSITION ...
We are seeking new representation in select areas. Field Service Representatives for Southwestern Petroleum are independent business people, free to develop this opportunity as they see fit, but, with the full training and responsive support of our experienced sales and technical staffs. They come from all walks of life … people wishing to explore new career lifestyles with higher earnings potential … to those wishing to remove current career limits … to the semi-retired and early retired and downsized. You will contact customers and customer prospects in your area, working from your home office on a protected account basis. We prefer full time commitment but are willing to appoint Field Service Representatives on a part-time basis in order to allow them to make a career transition. A home office with fax, email and answering machine or voice mail is helpful. Reliable transportation is a must, as is the ability to make on site visits in all types of commercial, industrial and manufacturing environments, both indoors and outdoors.
There are no fees of any kind. No stocking or delivery requirements. You are not required to handle credit or collections. You are free to devote 100% of your time to sales and account development.
TRAINING ...
If you are selected, you will attend the industry's premiere training school where you will learn everything you need to know to develop an account base that will provide an excellent source of income. In the field, you will have the on-going responsive support of SWEPCO's marketing, sales and technical staff.
COMPENSATION ...
Compensation is based on the highest commissions in our industry which means earnings are directly related to your own sales productivity. Your commissions are paid weekly upon shipment of orders. You do not have to wait for accounts to be paid to receive your commissions.
APPLICANT EXPERIENCE ...
Experience in industrial sales and/or familiarity with one or more of our target markets can be very beneficial but is not an absolute requirement. We have many successful Field Service Representatives who come from management, the military, teaching, trades, business and other career paths. Past contacts in the markets we serve can be very helpful in establishing yourself.
