 Job Description

 

Our Fabrication Department is looking for an Industrial Controls Estimator for our Plano location.

 

Job Purpose:  To estimate Engineering and Fabrication project hardware and labor costs.

 

Key Responsibilities:

 

1. Evaluate scope of work as supplied by sales personnel to determine hardware / software required.

2. Use fabrication labor formula to determine labor required based on scope of work.

3. Maintain master spreadsheet of all vendor pricing.

4. Interface with all sales personnel to determine required schedule for completed quotes

5. Go to customers site when necessary to evaluate overall scope of work

 

Requirements:

 1-2 years experience in industrial control panels1-2 years experience working with electrical drawingsMechanical background preferredMust have strong Excel skillsMust be familiar with AutoCad
