Job Opening: CONSTRUCTION MANAGER

Reports to: DIRECTOR OF PROCUREMENT AND LOGISTICS

Location: CHARLOTTE, NORTH CAROLINA

OVERVIEW

This position is responsible for all related activities required for the construction of large industrial plants in both foreign and domestic locations.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Â· The planning and scheduling of construction activities.

Â· The preparation of construction procedures and sequencing.

Â· The on-site construction management for selected projects.

Â· The contracting and supervision of erection advisors for various international and domestic assignments.

Â· The monitoring of construction activities and progress for all projects.

Â· The reporting of basic construction data for use by estimating and for planning of future projects.

Â· The support to construction partners and/or the Clientâ€™s contractor(s) for the planning and construction of the plant.

EDUCATION

Â· Four year engineering or construction degree

QUALIFICATIONS

Â· Ten years related experience

Â· Ability to travel and/or reside at site for both short term (3-6 months) and long term (6+ months) on international and domestic assignments

DESIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE

Â· Previous international experience preferred

Â· Foreign language capabilities a plus
