PROJECT DESCRIPTION
Project location is at the Phoenix Sky Harbor International Airport; as such the individual must possess an understanding of the various technology related systems typically found in an international airport (previous experience or working knowledge is required).
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
Create the master plan, provide direction on projects, prepare the RFP's, hire vendors designers and contractors, manage contracts, supervise their scope of performance, manage project day-to-day needs, QC and inspection, close out projects, and turn over the system maintenance.
REQUIREMENTS
Have the abilitiy to demonstrate good skills with working in a team environment, excellent written and verbal communication skills, possess a high degree of professionalism and experience with the following Project Manager related activities:
Request for Qualification (RFQ) and Proposal (RFP) package preparation Management and/or participation in the bidding and consultant/vendor selection processManagement oversight during design, installation, and construction related activities Management oversight during testing and startup activities Cost, Schedule, Document Control, and Scope management.
Have a good working knowledge of Information Technology systems including specific technical expertise in:
Communication system hardware components Local and wide area networking systems and standards Wireless technology Demonstrate an understanding of Systems Integration Familiar with testing criteria for IT related systems including Verification and Validation testing General engineering systems found at airports
The individual must pass security clearance required for staff working in an airport operations area.
