HVAC Wet Side Estimator/Project Manager

About Us:Performance Mechanical, Inc., a wholly owned subsidiary of EMCOR Group, Inc., is a General Contractor specializing in heavy industrial and commercial construction. Job Title: HVAC Wet Side Estimator/Project Manager Job Summary: Reporting to the Manager of Estimates and then to the Manager of Projects, an estimator/project manager at Performance Mechanical has control of a project from initiation to completion.  This individual will be responsible for all aspects of a project, from developing an estimate to delivering a finished product on time, including start-up, quality control and cost control. Essential Duties and Responsibilities: - Evaluate initial plans and specifications for each project and identify all pertinent requirements- Break down these plans to complete quantity take-offs- Solicit and evaluate quotations from subcontractors and suppliers for their relevant portions of the project- Assemble all portions of the project to compile a final bid estimate- Coordinate "start-up" activities to begin project- Ensure project stays on schedule through frequent contact with appropriate parties- Procure materials needed for the project- Monitor and maintain documentation relevant to the projectQualifications: The ideal candidate will have a good understanding of construction methods, materials, scheduling, blueprint reading, strong communication skills and the ability to work with all members of the project team - A high school degree required, college degree preferred- A minimum of 5 years experience in estimating and project management of HVAC, wet side construction- Communication skills to build and maintain client relationships- Must be proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word) and other construction/project management applications- Must be a self-starter with strong verbal and written communication skills; highly organized and detail oriented- The ability to be a team player with a "can do" attitude is critical in this role Visit us at www.perfmech.com to learn more about Performance Mechanical, Inc.If you are interested in joining our quality organization, please submit your resume to pjones@perfmech.com or apply online We offer our employees a competitive salary and comprehensive benefits package and are always looking for individuals with the talent and skills required to contribute to our continued growth and success.  EOE M/F/D/VClick here to apply online
