HVAC Sales Engineer
My client is a family owned manufacturer that has been in business for over 50 years. The manufacture a vaireity of HVAC related products ranging from the mechanical compenents to the sheet metal and everything in between. They have multiple manufacturing plants nationwide and employ over 400 employees.
They are seeking a seasoned Sales Engineer with the following credentials:
- experience bidding on commercial and industrial projects
- experience with blue prints and take-offs
- selling to and dealing with contractors, distributors and other manufacturers reps
- Experience selling fans, louvers, sheet metal
- Estimating experience is a plus Â
This position will be based out of a home office and cover Manhattan, Duchess County and Long Island.
The duties for this position are as follows:
- calling on contractors, industrial plants and consulting engineers
-Â presenting product and technology seminars
-Â preparing proposalsÂ
-managing projects
