Perform contractor oversight on construction projects Perform project coordination, data management, and report writing Assure and actively participate in quality control and or quality assurance in accordance with company and divisional guidelines Assure technical adequacy of work is checked Identify problems, roadblocks, or defects and bring to the supervisor's or manager's attention in a timely manner, including suggested solutions Work independently with senior-level technicians, designers, or engineers Meet required deadlines Perform routine tasks or standardized assignments involving a sequence of related operations Perform laboratory testing, soil/concrete/asphalt sampling, and field test assignments Be a team player (divisionally and cross-divisionally) and be accountable to other team members to complete assigned tasks Actively pursue continuing education, training, or professional development activities to remain current with industry standards Required Skills
Posses a valid PA driver's license, including a good driving recordMust have the ability to travel out of town as different project needs requireMust also be able to lift heavy equipment Must be willing and able to obtain or currently have a 40-hour OSHA (HAZWOPER) certification Must have strong work ethics Be aware that this position may offer the opportunity for a lot of overtime when projects allow. The selected candidate should have a somewhat flexible schedule to allow for the overtime (paid). Must be willing to work both day or night shifts, scheduling is unclear at this time.
Desired Qualifications: 40-hour OSHA (HAZWOPER) certification Experience with soil testing, ACI, and NRC certification Required ExperienceTwo - five years of related experience, with at least one year of construction inspection.L.
