Geologist/Project Manager
Lab Support's Melville, NY branch has been partnering with Long Island's leading pharmaceutical, biotech, & personal care companies for more than 10 years now; successfully employing technical professionals in both contract and direct hire jobs opportunities.Our client is an environmental firm of engineers and scientists, that is seeking to add to the team, a qualified Geologist/ Project ManagerResponsibilities: Supervise and guide staff level positions Manage multiple projects (responsible for technical and financial aspects) Aquifer characterization and groundwater modeling Other contaminant fate & transport modeling Evaluation, summary and comparison of site-specific characterization data to clean-up standards Preparation of site characterization reports, remedial action plans, and other technical reports Client and regulatory interaction to develop technical reports Construction Oversight Pilot Testing Sub-surface investigation Splits time betweent field work and office. Company vehicles available for site travel. Availability depends on notice given. Current sites throughout boroughs; Occasional Overtime Required: 3-5 yrs related experience Min B.S.
