GEOTECHNICAL ENGINEER

Geotechnical Engineering Master Wanted

  Are you a geotechnical engineer who’s  good, I mean really good? Tired of designing nothing but really deep holes? Would you like to be in charge of the whole design process? If so, read on. If not crawl back down and continue your digging.

  We are looking for a very experienced geotechnical engineer for our office in the Pasadena area. The chosen candidate want must have 10 to 15 years of experience in combined geotechnical and civil engineering.

  The individual must hold a valid P.E. in California, preferably have a Master’s in geotechnical engineering and be an extroverted engineer, in other words, somebody who likes to talk.

Some Responsibilities will include:

· Managing all business for the firm throughout the Southwestern U.S., California, Arizona, New Mexico.

· Mentoring junior engineers.

· Conducting further client development and winning new business.

Requirements:

· California P.E. either in geotechnical or civil engineering

· 10 to 15 years of experience

· Bachelor’s degree in engineering

· Master’s in geotechnical desired

· Business development experience

· Knowledge of design of deep and shallow foundations, piling, soil and rock mechanics

· Knowledge of California seismic codes

· Certified geologist desired

· Ability to read, write and speaking clearly.

· Ability to travel.
