We are seeking a talented Fire Alarm Technician who install, maintain and troubleshoot all aspects of fire alarm systems in tenant suites, single story flex space systems, and large retail and office buildings for commercial and government buildings. Fire Alarm Technicians must able to identify major alarm issues that require either programming or proprietary assistance for closure. Layout experience is a plus. NICET I or NICET II and/or UL listed technicians please apply.Required Skills

NICET I or II or UL Listed TechniciansJourneyman Electrician license is a plusMinimum of 3-5 years of experience in all phases of fire systems work, including rough wiring, wiring of devices and panels, and layout and installation of alarm devices and other systems componentsKnowledge of Simplex, Notifier, or Gamewell systemsKnowledge of electrical codes and standardsKnowledge of Hardwired systems, Class A and BFire Alarm panel diagnostics via laptop computer a plusAbility to identify alarm issuesAbility to read design drawings and wiring diagrams, interpret 1-line diagram, multiplex schematics, and points list mapping documentscommunicates professionally, both orally and in writingcareer motivated; willing to learn and take additional courseworkRequired Experience
