About The Company
Earthtec Engineering, Inc. is a widely recognized and respected engineering consulting firm that provides services in geotechnical and geological engineering, laboratory testing and special inspections. The company currently has two offices in Orem and Ogden, Utah. Earthtec Engineering services a variety of customers that include developers, contractors, architectural firms, educational institutions, major corporations, utility companies and many federal, state and local government agencies.
 Technicians WantedAt this time Earthtec Engineering is currently seeking certified field technicians to perform inspections on soils, concrete, masonry, wood and nailing, pre-stressed concrete, fireproofing, exterior insulation and finish systems, structural steel fabrication, bolting and welding.
  Technicians DutiesPerforms field inspections for the purpose of verifying conformance to construction plans and specifications. Follows proper inspection procedures and submits daily reports with accurate calculations. Maintains good customer relations by ensuring his/her actions provide a value added service. Supports all other duties as directed by any management staff member.Qualifications
Prospective candidate must have a certification from the American Concrete Institute (ACI), International Code Council (ICC), Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC), American Welding Society (AWS) or an accepted agency for the work he/she will be providing.

Minimum of one year of field service

Able to communicate effectively and to follow set procedures

Able to perform simple mathematical calculations
Â
Familiarity with Microsoft Word and Excel software applications
