Field Safety Manager

Peterson Brothers Construction, a specialty services concrete company in Brea, California is in need of an experienced Field Safety Manager.  We have more than 20 years of profitable service in the Southern California market.  We are now self-insured and employee owned.   

Our applicant of choice will spend the majority of his or her time in the field with 12 Superintendents and approximately 80 Foremen. Reporting to the Director of Risk and Safety, you will deliver training in the field with the goal to reduce both injuries and exposure to risk.  You will investigate accidents and conduct pre-job inspections. You must have a trained eye and sense for those situations that could be dangerous.  You are also accountable for the field safety incentive program.

In addition to safety, you will have responsibility for training field employees on our Work Track remote time reporting system.   

You should have 3 years experience in the construction industry in the field of Safety or Risk Management. You must be bilingual (Spanish & English) and have a sound grasp of OSHA regulations.  You must hold a valid California Drivers' License and show proof of a safe driving record.  Expertise with Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook is required.
