Honeywell Building Solutions (HBS) installs and maintains the systems that help keep buildings and facilities safe, secure, comfortable and cost efficient. HBS services critical building systems including heating, ventilation and air conditioning (HVAC), building automation, fire, security and energy management.
HBS is seeking an experienced Field Install Specialist who will oversee the installation and perform the commissioning, testing, checkout, start-up, and technical support across a wide range of electric/electronic, DDC control systems, HVAC, Fire Alarm and Security Systems in commercial/industrial facilities.
Experience with systems that involve advanced solutions such as EBI, Tridium, Echelon products, Lonmark and other open technologies for building automation/integration solutions is a plus.
Provides technical support to other technicians as needed, Interfaces with sales representatives, customers, contractors, vendors, Honeywell engineers, estimators, project managers and other technicians.
Basic Qualifications
Experience with software applications such as Visio, AutoCAD, and MS Excel
Associates Degree, Technical Schooling or equivalent experience
Must be willing to travel throughout the service area
After-hours on-call rotation with other technicians required.
Company vehicle provided.
