COMPANY Cushman & Wakefield LOCATION Cupertino, CA 95014STATUS Full Time, Employee WORK EXPERIENCE 2+ to 5 Years CAREER LEVEL Experienced (Non-Manager)EDUCATION LEVEL High School or equivalent OUR SERVICES Brokerage Capital Markets Client Solutions Consultancy Investment Management Investment Sales Research Specialty Practice Groups Valuation AdvisoryOUR CLIENTS Developers Financial Institutions Investors Manufacturers Multinational Corporations Office Occupiers Owners Retailers www.cushwake.com OUR VALUES Our CLIENTS come first :: Our foremost standard of conduct is INTEGRITY :: Every employee is a TEAM member and contributes to our success :: Individually and collectively striving to achieve EXCELLENCE in everything we do :: Treating each other and our clients with RESPECT and DIGNITY :: CITIZENSHIP - A commitment to the communities in which we live and work :: Realize the value in actively recruiting, developing, and mentoring talented individuals of DIVERSE cultures and backgrounds :: PROFITABILITY - Driving our ability to invest, improve, and succeed   Facilities Technician Job SummaryThe Facilities Maintenance Technician is responsible for the completion of facilities work requests, including:  room set-ups for meetings, furniture reconfigurations, moves, moving equipment, furniture, and boxes, making name plates, painting, changing out lamps and ballasts, minor plumbing repairs, changing out ceiling tiles, minor carpet repairs, and other similar tasks, as required, in support of the overall goal of maintaining, as invisible to the customer as possible, a neat, clean, comfortable work environment within our Client’s employees and tenants may carry out their responsibilities with minimal disruption due to facilities related issues.  The Facilities Maintenance Technicians report to the Lead Facilities Technician, and works closely with the Facility Manager and the Chief Engineer.  Principal Responsibilities§ Be familiar with Cushman & Wakefield policies and procedures and Client’s policies and procedures as they relate to your position and job description Â§ Be familiar with the layout of the facilities, location of storage rooms, shops, major conference rooms, labs warehouse Â§ Check web-based work log (BIG) a minimum of three times daily for assigned work requests Â§ Know your assigned procedures for various emergency situations and respond accordingly should they occur.  Â§ Address work requests as assigned on a timely basis, completing requests within the assigned SLA (service level agreement) Â§ Check primary conference rooms daily as assigned, and inspect facilities informally for carpet stains, marks on walls that need touch-up, damaged or stained ceiling tiles, bent or broken window blinds, etc.  Try to create a minimum of five new work requests daily.  Â§ Attend weekly staff meetings, and monthly safety meetings.  Observe safety procedures.  Try to maintain an accident-free safety record. Â§ Wear the assigned uniform at all times while on duty.  Dress in a neat and professional manner whenever you are on the property, even off-duty§   Qualifications High School or Vocational degree preferred 2-4 years of facilities experience in commercial/corporate buildings  Required Skills· Basic computer skills, ability to use email a must Respond in a professional and courteous manner in carrying out assigned duties  Attend classes related to your position to improve your knowledge and skill level   If you have the skills necessary to thrive in a fast paced environment, we offer a competitive salary, excellent benefits package and a genuine career opportunity.  Please click on this link to apply:  http://careers.vurvexpress.com/jobprofile.cfm?szWID=14033&szCID=63150&szSiteID=451&szOrderID=525112&szStart=1   No Phone Calls/Agencies PleaseEqual Opportunity Employer
