Environmental Combustion and Controls (ECC), a division of ACS, provides integrated product solutions in heating, ventilation, cooling & refrigeration, air purification, zoning, humidification, air conditioning, switches, sensors and controllers. From home to business, we offer a complete portfolio of superior control products.
The North American Homes division, an ECC business, is comprised of products categories such as: Thermostats, Whole House Indoor Air Quality (IAQ) products, Timers and Whole House Zoning products, sold and marketed to three primary channels (Electrical & HVAC wholesalers,, Retail, and OEM) who reach 3 primary customers (Electrical & HVAC contractors, Residential Home Builders, and Homeowners).
We are looking for an Administrative Assistant position to support the ECC Homes business, located in Golden Valley, MN.
Responsibilities:
Plan and organize work, manage schedules via outlook, set up interviews, compose correspondence, and answer telephone calls.Work with little direction and protect sensitive, confidential information, received and generated.Exercise good judgment in setting task priorities.Requires scheduling and travel planning ability, embrace constant change, and work with executives and employees at all levels.Must be self motivated, professional, tactful, strong problem solving and accuracy skills.Initiative, flexibility in work hours, strong organizational and communication skills, attention to detail, follow through and commitment to customer satisfaction are all critical to this role.Be agile with computer usage and have excellent level skill using Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and have the ability to learn other software applications used in the office environment.Communicate clearly and concisely in oral and written format with leaders and employees of all levels.Manage multiple priority activities concurrently that require considerable coordination and follow through to meet requirements.Serve as back up to other Administrative Assistants as necessary.Knowledge of company policies and procedures, department functions in performing duties.Maintain executive calendars, schedule appointments, meeting planning, travel planning, expense report support, documentation in support of business processes (training, metrics, human resources activities, approval process documentation, etc.).Position requires initiative, a high degree of accuracy, discretion, personal judgment and confidentiality.
Minimum 5+ years administrative support experience.Proficient use of Microsoft Office Suite.Experience in support of senior executives.Experience having worked in a fast paced environment.
Additional Qualifications:
Secretarial /Business School, BS/BA degree preferred.Ability to prioritize work disseminated from different sources.Ability to work independently and prioritize heavy workload.Ability to work with multiple executives.
