Job Description:
Electrical Engineering Technician. Major duties and responsibilities such as developing the construction work order package including preparing scope of work, independent government estimate, and coordinate environmental assessments (CATX).
The individual should be experienced in construction techniques with a high emphasis in the electrical trade. Experience in High Voltage is also desirable.
This position requires routine site visits to evaluate proposed projects. This position requires knowledge and experience of contract types such as Job Order Contract (JOC), Blanket Ordering Agreement (BOA) and Indefinite Delivery Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ). This person should have experience with construction estimating preferable with RS Means. In addition, this individual should have intermediate to advanced experience with Microsoft programs such as Outlook, Word, Excel, Access and PowerPoint. Must be able to learn the MAXIMO database program. Must have a valid California driver's license and be able to drive a government vehicle.
Pay is $85K annually, length of assignment 6-12 months, working at USMC Camp Pendleton.
Approx. start date 9/2/2008.
