PRODUCTION PLANNER / SCHEDULER

The planner is responsible for support of the assigned cell(s) in inventory and scheduling needs. Â Major areas of responsibility include:

Â Develop an achievable production schedule to meet customer commitments using computer based scheduling tools.Â Communicate commitment dates.Â Coordinate priorities with customer service as needed. Monitor inventory of production materials and requisition inventory as needed to support production. Launch production work orders to the shop floor for the production.
