PRODUCTION PLANNER / SCHEDULER
The planner is responsible for support of the assigned cell(s) in inventory and scheduling needs. Â Major areas of responsibility include:
 Develop an achievable production schedule to meet customer commitments using computer based scheduling tools. Communicate commitment dates. Coordinate priorities with customer service as needed. Monitor inventory of production materials and requisition inventory as needed to support production. Launch production work orders to the shop floor for the production. Schedule the cell to meet customer delivery requirements.                                     Identify & communicate differences between scheduled and actual production Produce cell metric reports on schedule and inventory                                             Monitor and requisition production materials for cell                                              Prepare jobs for launch to cell                                                                                   Conduct cycle counts & monitor inventory accuracy
