Mechanical Engineer

 

Lake Superior Consulting, LLC, established in 2002, is a team consisting of Engineers, Technicians & Support Specialists committed to the cost effective servicing of our customers needs.  We provide specialized services to the pipeline industries including, but not limited to:  engineering services, welding, quality control, integrity management, inline inspection, and cathodic protection.  Due to continue growth in our business, we are seeking a Mechanical Engineer to join our team.

 

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

You will be responsible for pipeline related design, construction management and integrity management projects from inception through to delivery. Projects will be multi-disciplined covering civil, mechanical, and electrical works, with a strong focus on the utilities area of the business. You will be responsible for the successful delivery of each project through management of internal staff, external contractors, financial control, and strong management of change.

 Skills and Knowledge:

· BSME with 0-4 years of experience

· Pipeline experience a plus, but will consider experience from other industries

· Experience managing complex projects

· Strong communication and follow up skills

· Strong computer literacy and proficiency



· Ability to adapt to rapidly changing circumstances
