Electrical Project Managers and Superintendents - Multiple Openings!

Your Company is a growing, progressive electrical contractor in the greater Indianapolis and Indiana area. Projects are primarily commercial, heavy and light industrial, institutional, hospital and healthcare located throughout the state. They are seeking experienced candidates with at least 5-10 years of electrical Project Management experience. Your opportunity, challenge and responsibilities include complete responsibility for the profitability and success of the projects. Certain projects are site specific in the state so travel and work on these sites are strong possibilities. Project responsibilities will vary project to project to project depending on the size, scope and complexity of the work. You’ll work with the estimators and other team members to complete a project turnover to operations and establish a cost budget for the project. You’ll plan and conduct a pre-construction meeting with the estimator and appropriate site staff.  You’ll manage the submittal process and develop a relationship with the customer to ensure the project runs smoothly. You’ll also update cost projections for the project as necessary and provide a weekly update to operations manager as to project status, problems, challenges, needs etc. In addition, you’ll establish field staffing plan for the project and work with customer, site superintendent and estimator to identify potential changes in the project scope. You will establish pricing for project scope changes and Identify and communicate project impacts to customer. You’ll manage the project and communicate all issues to the customer immediately. You’ll ensure key material delivery schedules are met, project stays on schedule and under budget and closeout documentation is sent to the customer. Finally, you’ll plan and conduct the project closeout meeting with the estimator and site superintendent. Attend project meetings as required and necessary.  The skills experience and qualifications you’ll need to be successful are 5-7 years of electrical project management experience on commercial, heavy and light industrial, hospital, healthcare, l construction projects. You must be able to project manage work in the $3MM- 10MM range or multiple smaller projects. Experience in design / build, conceptual and hard bid work desirable. Field experience and completion of electrical apprenticeship desired. Construction Management or PMP certification is desirable. You must be familiar with industry-standard project management methods and NEC codes. A good driving record required. You must be able to pass pre-employment drug screen, background and other assessments as required. Intermediate to advanced knowledge of Accubid, MS Project or Timberline highly desirable.  Compensation and incentives to be discussed during interview process based on experience and past work history.  A significant Benefit package is available.
