The Electrical Instructor will:Administer and present training and development courses for Apprentice, EPrep, and other related courses established and administered by the M. C. Dean, Inc., training and education division;Administer and grade tests based on the current curriculum; andMaintain classroom decorum in a professional manner.Required Skills
Requirements:High School diploma;7-10 years of related experience;Must have prior experience in Electrical Apprenticeship Instruction;Current teachers certification or be willing to take a training course to receive one;Extensive history and working knowledge of the NEC;Minimum of a Journeyman Electrician Card (Master Electrician Preferred);
Extensive experience in electical installations including:blueprint reading;raceway installations;conductor installations;branch circuit and feeder installation and termination;motors and motor control wiring;switchgear and panel board assembly and wiring;grounding methods (exothermic, crimp, etc.);load calculations - motor calculations - conduit fill - box fill and sizing;high voltage splicing and termination; andelectrical theory including Ohms Law, Kirchoffs Law, etc.Qualified candidates should apply online with resume and salary requirements to:M.C.
