Electrical Design Engineer
About the company: Engineering Source of NC, PA is a building systems consulting engineering firm. We have provided Plumbing, HVAC & Electrical (PME) design services to Architects, Contractors and Building Owners for the last 8 years. We do some public sector design, but rely on the private Design-Build sector for the majority of our projects. We primarily work on Medical Office Buildings, Retail Shops, Restaurants, Churches, Private Schools, and Industrial buildings.
Responsibilities: The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing and designing the Electrical portion of the projects. This includes the power distribution, lighting, fire alarm systems and minor data design. They will work directly with the clients, be responsible for some field work and direct the electrical design through management of the designers and actual AutoCad drawing input.
Qualifications: This person must be proficient in Autocad drafting, have at least 3 years experience in this engineering field and be an Engineer-in-Training (EIT) or a Professional Engineer (PE) in the state of North Carolina (NC) or qualified for registration in NC through reciprocity.
