                                               District Engineer

Apply general civil engineering knowledge to support mining activities in numerous locations throughout the Southeast.  Act as part of a team of civil engineers, environmental engineers, geologists and mining engineers that perform in-house planning and design as well as coordinating with industry consultants.    

 

  Bachelor of Science Degree in Civil Engineering or equivalent experience required A strong background in earthwork, 3D modeling, volume computations, road design, drainage, hydrology and erosion control design is a must Knowledge of cost estimating, material take-offs and construction management  Proficient in ACAD, Autodesk, Land Desktop or Civil 3D, Microsoft Project, Excel and PowerPoint Prior survey office and fieldwork knowledge Some overnight travel required
