Sunset Lighting Services is a centrally located, North Orange County lighting, electrical, and sign firm that is in the business of providing world-class customer service and satisfaction.To uphold this core value, Sunset Lighting Services seeks top-quality professionals who are not only well-qualified and goal-driven, but who also value business integrity, creativity, and teambuilding.In our constant effort to exceed our customers’ expectations, we are looking for a National Dispatcher/Project Coordinator with great ideas, fresh perspectives, and a desire for career acceleration and advancement.The following points entail the rewarding career opportunity available for a Dispatcher/Project Coordinator at Sunset Lighting Services:PURPOSEMaintain customers' facility operations by coordinating the restoration, repair, and maintenance of lighting, signage, and electrical systems as performed by our team of technicians and subcontractors.Our National Dispatcher/Project Coordinator schedules & manages our subcontracted service throughout the United States & Canada, tracks their progress, and follows-up on their completed work.  There is a high level of customer interaction.  Training is provided for this position, although some dispatching experience in applicable industries is advantageous.DUTIES•  Create and track Service and Purchase orders.  â€¢  Dispatch technicians on logistically efficient routes.•  Respond to customer inquiries concerning project. •  Create and update project files. •  Perform close-out process for completed projects.•  Maintain confidential department records and office files in accordance with internal company procedures.•  Interface with customers, vendors, and technicians on projects.•  Adhere to budgetary requirements and job guidelines as specified by the customer & contracts.REQUIREMENTS•  Bachelor’s degree preferred •  Prior experience preferred•  Effective interpersonal skills •  Teambuilding abilities•  Strong organizational skills •  Excellent oral and communication skills (including spelling and grammar)•  Ability to set priorities and meet deadlines •  Careful proofing of own work; detail-oriented and independent thinking•  Ability to adapt to changing circumstances•  Skilled in multitasking and time managementQUALIFICATIONSProficiency in Word and Excel, some technical understanding (training provided), routing and dispatch experience is an advantage, safety and facilities systems knowledge. COMPENSATION & BENEFITSCompetitive salary with experience.
