Oldcastle Materials has an exciting opportunity for a Director of Purchasing Services supporting the Central Division. This position will be based out of Columbus, Ohio and will support the states of Ohio and Michigan.
The Director of Purchasing Services is responsible for developing and implementing a purchasing strategy to maximize the division’s supply base across multiple sites. Will lead the purchasing strategy to identify opportunities to leverage group volumes, improve vendor management practices and bring new purchasing strategies to the organization to improve overall financial performance.
Qualified candidates will possess a bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Engineering, Business or related degree along with ten plus years experience in purchasing, sourcing and supply chain management. Must possess strong leadership skills with the ability to develop and maintain a wide range of multi-site relationships across the business. Experience with change management and building materials sector experience preferred
