Designer
My client, a major producer of compressors for the oil and natural gas industry, is seeking a Designer for their facility, located in Midland, TX.
The individual will perform three dimensional equipment layouts and prepare detailed fabrication and assembly drawings and process and instrumentation diagrams for gas compressor packages.
RequirementsDevelop all assembly related drawings for customer specified units using a 3-D process with Autodesk Inventor.Prepare assembly/fabrication drawings required including main skid, compressor base, driver base, process and auxiliary vessels, piping spools and auxiliary system drawings.Perform electrical wiring diagram drawings revisions.Coordinate with Project Engineering Manager to accomplish general assignments.Develop bill of materials on drawings for all fabricated items.Perform vessel calculations utilizing Advanced Pressure Vessel.
QualificationsGeneral understanding of ASME Section VIII Division 1, ASME B31.3 and B31.8.General understanding of natural gas engines, diesel engines, reciprocating and rotary screw compressors.AutoCAD 2000 or later experience.Autodesk Inventor experience.3-D modeling experience.
