Demolition / Construction Owner's Representative

Location: Grand Forks, ND

Accountabilities
Provide daily on-site evaluations of construction activities
Ensure construction submittals are properly evaluated, reviewed, and submitted
Manage construction activities from the owner’s perspective, maintaining schedule and quality
Inspect construction plans, site, workers, practices, and procedures to ensure compliance
Assist client, constructor, and design team in resolving design conflicts
Provide project documentation, evaluation, and communication
Maintain good working relationships with constructor and client, representing the AMEC name


Knowledge
10 years of related work experience.
Working knowledge of demolition and construction activities (Military Family Housing and Utility Work Preferred)
Ability to communicate with client, constructor, and all interested parties in a professional manner
Knowledge in the use of Microsoft Office products to include Word, Project, and Excel
Ability to plan, organize, and facilitate periodic project meetings
Working knowledge of EPA, OSHA, and local state regulations, that apply to demolition and construction work
Able to read plans, drawings, and specifications
Experience working on Department of Defence (DoD) installations preferred
