Position:

The Corporate Industrial Engineer is part of the Operations Support Team located in the McLane Foodservice Home office in Carrollton, Texas. Primary objectives of the position are to support and improve out company’s labor standard program and to help drive productivity improvements in the distribution centers. We are loking for a bright individual with strong work ethic and possessing the creative, analytical, and project management skills to help out company operate more effectively.

 

Responsibilities:Conduct time studies and prepare engineered labor standard for distribution centersDrive productivity through methods improvements, layouts, warehouse slotting, the use of technology and other meansSupport miscellaneous department and distribution center special projects

 

Qualifications:BS degree in Industrial Engineering. Other related degrees with applicable experience would be considered.Time study experience (stop watch, MOST, or MTM)Proven advance skills utilizing Excel and AccessExperience analyzing miscellaneous warehouse dataOutstanding organizational skillsCommitment to deliver timely, professional, and quality work productAbove average work ethic and an ability to work independentlyAbility to handle multiple projects at one timeExcellent oral and written communication skillsWilling to travel 75 to 80%AutoCAD Experience a plus
