Construction Superintendents Needed Nationwide for Wind Energy Projects

We currently have several needs for Construction Superintendents to support our Wind Farm Projects across the US. The Project Superintendent works with the Manager of Wind Energy Operations and project management to execute wind energy construction projects including sitework, electrical, foundations, tower erection, turbine and rotor placement, transmission line and substation construction as well as testing, commissioning, and turnover. The Site Superintendent will be involved in providing construction input to proposal efforts including schedule, manpower loading, productivity, equipment and tool requirements. The Site Superintendent will be required to plan and execute construction projects from inception to close-out and will have demonstrated skills in baseline establishment and change identification and control. The qualified candidate will have held a Project Superintendent or Senior Construction Superintendent position on wind farm projects for a minimum of 5 years. The qualified candidate will have held progressively more responsible positions in the construction industry with emphasis on construction of wind farms. The qualified candidate will have demonstrated experience on projects through construction management of subcontractors as well as through direct supervision of the construction trades in self-performing the work. The qualified candidate will have a mix of experience with organized labor and open shop. The Rigging and Lifting Superintendent supports the Site Superintendent, providing supervision of the project's heavy rigging and lifting operations including tower erection, turbine and rotor placement and transmission line and substation construction. The Rigging and Lifting Superintendent will be involved in providing construction input to proposal and planning efforts including schedule, manpower loading, productivity, equipment and tool requirements. The Rigging and Lifting Superintendent will be required to plan and execute construction projects from inception to close-out and will have demonstrated skills in baseline establishment and change identification and control. The qualified candidate will have held a similar position on wind farm projects for a minimum of 2 years and will have demonstrated success in managing the inter-relationships between the procurement and delivery of the components and the completion of the site roads, foundations, and balance of plant improvements required to support tower erection and turbine and rotor placement. The qualified candidate will have held progressively more responsible positions in the construction industry with emphasis on construction of wind farms. The qualified candidate will have demonstrated experience on projects through construction management of subcontractors as well as through direct supervision of the construction trades in self-performing the work. The qualified candidate will have a mix of experience with organized labor and open shop. The Electrical Superintendent supports the Site Superintendent, providing supervision of the project's electrical and controls construction and transmission line and substation construction. The Electrical Superintendent will be involved in providing construction input to proposal and planning efforts including schedule, manpower loading, productivity, equipment and tool requirements. The Electrical Superintendent will be required to plan and execute construction projects from inception to close-out and will have demonstrated skills in baseline establishment and change identification and control. The qualified candidate will have held a similar position on wind farm projects for a minimum of 2 years and will have demonstrated success in managing the inter-relationships between the procurement and delivery of the components required to support tower erection and turbine and rotor placement. Additionally, the Electrical Superintendent will be responsible for the complete commissioning of the completed project, including acceptance testing, operational testing, commissioning and turnover. The qualified candidate will have held progressively more responsible positions in the construction industry with emphasis on construction of wind farms. The qualified candidate will have demonstrated experience on projects through construction management of subcontractors as well as through direct supervision of the construction trades in self-performing the work. The qualified candidate will have a mix of experience with organized labor and open shop. The Civil/Concrete Superintendent supports the Site Superintendent, providing supervision of the project's site development and grading construction and tower foundation construction. The Civil/Concrete Superintendent will be involved in providing construction input to proposal and planning efforts including schedule, manpower loading, productivity, equipment and tool requirements. The Civil/Construction Superintendent will be required to plan and execute construction projects from inception to close-out and will have demonstrated skills in baseline establishment and change identification and control. The qualified candidate will have held a similar position on wind farm projects for a minimum of 2 years and will have demonstrated success in managing the construction of the balance of plant required to support tower erection and turbine and rotor placement. The qualified candidate will have held progressively more responsible positions in the construction industry with emphasis on construction of wind farms. The qualified candidate will have demonstrated experience on projects through construction management of subcontractors as well as through direct supervision of the construction trades in self-performing the work. The qualified candidate will have a mix of experience with organized labor and open shop.
