We are currently seeking an experienced Construction Project Manager at our La Vista, NE location.This position encompasses the following: Develop and execute cost-effective project plans and resource plans for efficient and effective utilization of resources. Select and manage subcontractors Responsible for administration of construction documents including permitting, licenses and bonds. Execute in house construction documents including change orders, quotations, transmittals, submittal, O&M manuals, customer correspondence, subcontracting documents, etc. Control construction costs and schedules to deliver assigned projects at cost and on schedule. Interface with management and customer/customer representatives to communicate progress against budget, schedule and resources. Attends job progress meetings. Provide quotations where needed, negotiating new business and change orders where required. Develop Schedule of Values, prepare invoicing and execute AR requirements.
Qualifications: High school diploma. Bachelor's degree preferred. 25% travel. 5+ years experience. Minimun of 8-10 projects executed in role of project manager with project sizes ranging from $500K and larger within the past 3 years. Certification through accredited organization either through undergraduate studies in a construction management curriculum or attainment of PMI Certification (or like organization) in good standing. Experience with government and facility management contracts desired. Direct mechanical, electrical, general construction, or controls experience desired. Good communication, conflict resolution, and negotiating skills a must.
