Chief Corp. Estimator

The largest provider of detention and corrections services to governmental agencies, is currently looking for a Corp. Chief Estimator out of their Nashville, TN Facility

 

  Summary: 

 

The Chief Estimator is responsible for developing design and construction estimates for large capital projects.  Responsible for evaluating relative projects in terms of the actual costs of specific types of buildings and systems.  Will also review applications for payment, analyze historic cost information, and maintain a historical database.Qualifications:  Graduate of an accredited college or university with a Bachelor’s degree in construction management, estimating, or other acceptable related field with at least four years of building construction experience is required.  Additional years of related experience may be substituted, for the required education on a year-for-year basis up to two years.  Requires a strong knowledge of the construction industry, applicable software applications, and construction estimating, as well as good oral and written communication skills.  A valid driver’s license is required and able travel as required.Submit resume via email in a Word document format
