Join this stable, growing and family-owned construction company with annual revenues of $500M and become an integral part of the executive team. Assist the owners with strategic planning for anticipated future growth. You will also champion the implementation process of the company's new construction software products.
You will coordinate business efforts in three South Texas offices, and be responsible for overall financial reporting. Specifically, your duties will consist of:Management of the contractual relationship with financially-related third parties of lenders and sureties;Development and implementation of efficient and effective internal controls in order to provide reliable financial reporting and minimize corporate exposure to fraud;Cash management and preparation of weekly forecasts to ensure subcontractors are paid in accordance with TxDOT terms; Allocation of cash on hand for operational and capital related items;Review of weekly payroll reports; Preparation and presentation of the monthly financial package to executive team with relevant analysis;Preparation of annual budget and monthly progress reports, focusing on capital budget and project costing.
You need 8-10 years of experience in accounting along with a degree in accounting or finance.MBA helpful. CPA is not required. Your excellent and definitive communications skills and true professionalism is important. Experience in highway and airport construction industries is a plus. Experience and implementation of Heavy Jobs, Heavy Bid and Street Smarts is essential.
