Business Development Manager-IBlue - Rocky Mountain

In the Business Development Manager role, this individual is responsible for the execution of annual sales plans to support revenue and profit objectives of Insituform Blue. He/she has primary responsibility to identify, develop, and close new business opportunities for Insituform Blue. This individual will be responsible for the execution of annual sales plans to support revenue and profit objectives of Insituform Technologies in the Rocky Mountain Area. This person will have primary responsibility to identify, develop and close new business opportunities for Insituform Technologies in the Rocky Mountain Area. Responsibilities will include managing the business development effort, generating and qualifying leads for subsequent development, performing key account planning and maintaining favorable business relationships with key accounts. In this role, this candidate will be responsible for preparing bids and proposals, executing bid strategy, providing input into the estimating process. Through their knowledge of the Rocky Mountain Area and surrounding areas, this individual will be responsible for generating market intelligence for capture and subsequent analysis. He/she will also assist in the development of marketing communications and product portfolio decisions, coordinate pilot projects and spearhead management of customer service.

The ideal Business Development Manager candidate should possess a BS/BA with a concentration in business, finance, sales, marketing construction management or other related field. An MBA is preferred. This candidate must have a minimum of 2 years related experience with demonstrated success in municipal and governmental sales in the Rocky Mountain Area. This individual should also have strong interpersonal skills with the ability to motivate and communicate, along with strong people management and decision-making skills. Moreover, this person should demonstrate entrepreneurial energy with a flair for start-up business operations. EOE M/F/D/V
