Building Infrastructure Manager
Linc Facility Services (LFS) is a facility support services company providing on-site personnel who maintain and operate facilities. It offers direct support in the areas of technical operations and maintenance, office services, and project management. Customers come from industries such as aviation, high technology, manufacturing, museums, sports venues, and telecommunications. Founded in 1979, the company is part of The Linc Group, which also includes companies that provide HVAC services. Operational Support and Services (OSS) is a wholly-owned subsidiary of the Linc Facility Services (LFS) (www.useoss.com)
OSS is currently putting together a team for one of the newest and largest post construction, facility management and services projects in the Doha Qatar. Job Summary:
Manage all site infrastructures, buildings and civil works, including all department-led projects. Develop all department civil mechanical, electrical plumbing and marine engineering standards in line with Best Practice. Ensure operational excellence through the implementation of corporate project methodology, delivering a World Class Facilities Infrastructure.
Essential Functions:
Compliance with Local campus and community authorities’ requirements, building regulations and relevant applications.Compliance on all projects with Corporate and Site standards.Budgetary control of all Department led projects ensuring best practice with projects delivered on time and to budgetary constraints.Communication and reporting on all performance metrics to the FM director. Monthly report including master project file issued 3 days ahead of management meetings.Effective staffing. All staff appraisals reviewed and approved by HR deadline. Job descriptions, training and development plans in place for all Civil and project staff. Responsible for ensuring that staff is trained.Delivering Customer focused building infrastructure and project control to World Class standards. Capital projects direction. Approval of capital projects annual budget. Manages minor and major construction, capital improvements, infrastructure and building stability/utilization projects.Outsource services and contracts to deliver projects in collaboration with the Purchasing / Engineering procurement specialist utilizing robust contract systems.Maintains site Engineering Standards and SOPs as appropriate.Coordinate with various home owner associations to manage and maintain common area/public realm and infrastructure work.
Job Requirements and Qualifications:Preferably holds a Bachelor's Degree in mechanical, electrical or civil engineering, or related field.Experience in handling and managing budgetsExperience having supervised staff / contractors on site, during multiple projects running concurrently.Computer literate to include MS OfficeProject Management experience including building infrastructure software and computerized maintenance management system.World Class Management experience Experience having worked in a mixed use of retail, residential & commercial, community and campus.
