Builder Seeking Estimator/ Purchasing Professional

Primary responsibilities are to negotiate and help to select and purchase interior design products, systems, and equipment for high-end multi-family residential projects. Review and approve submittal, create and track change orders, monitor timely arrival of material on site.  Monitor accuracy and quality during installation.  Work with Owners, Construction Superintendents, and Subcontractors during construction on questions and scheduling.  Provide a consistent and timely contact for all interior options questions or concerns.

In addition, detailing all materials necessary for the contract to achieve specification, prepares tender prices from the architect's drawings and the bill of quantities supplied by the client, and calculating a final figure for the estimated cost, supplemented by adjustments for overheads and profit, and presenting a tender price.  Prepare accurate estimates at schematic development, meet deadlines, provide value engineering services, and produce takeoffs. 

Excellent compensation and benefit package. Work is currently located in Southern California. Candidate must be authorized to work in the US.
